Collaborations
Collaborating is at the heart of how I think and working with others enriches, expands and challenges my work.
The large-scale installations, technically innovate artworks and the development of The Museum of Loss and Renewal have been made possible by inviting people and organisations to work with me, to help me see my ideas and challenges from different perspectives, and to maximise the power of individual skills and interests.
Collaboration brings people together, physically and in online spaces, and through the work’s capacity to tell a shared story, stimulates reflection and forms connections that transcend differences.
Working with remarkable partners and groups from diverse backgrounds and disciplines exposes me to new approaches and perspectives, and we are each able to enhance our creative work, share experiences, knowledge, resources and techniques.
I am passionate about learning and co-learning and professional growth, active in the art world, higher education and entrepreneurship. By collaborating, I am part of supportive networks that give me the confidence to go beyond myself to make my work better, foster continuous learning, reach new audiences and ultimately make a positive impact on the art world and every other sector that my work speaks to.
